In this special edition of InflowReal Business, we will talk about a noteworthy restaurant owner who goes the extra mile for customer satisfaction. Imagine this: you try to place a food order, but the line is busy. Instead of waiting and redialing, the restaurant owner calls you back. This is the story of a restaurant that truly values its customers.
Despite the convenience of online food delivery apps, calling a near-by restaurant directly to order food remains a common practice for many. A number of times when you call a restaurant to order your food, you find that the call is busy, which means some other person is also calling the restaurant owner at the same time, especially during peak hours.. Then, what is the next step we take? We wait and call the restaurant owner again unless and until we are able to order our food. This repetitive calling can be quite annoying. But, that was not the case when I called the restaurant owner.
I called a restaurant to order food, but the line was busy. After 2 minutes, I called again, but it was still busy. As I was waiting for another 2-3 minutes to try calling again, the restaurant owner called me to ask for my order. This was noteworthy for me because I had never encountered a restaurant that calls you back after being busy.
A Memorable Customer-Centric Approach
Being contacted by the restaurant to take my order was a noteworthy experience. Among all the restaurants I’ve called, this was the first time where the owner himself called me back after being busy.
What makes this story remarkable is the level of customer service. Instead of making me wait or risk losing my business, the owner took the initiative to return my call. It’s a simple act, yet it speaks volumes about their commitment to their customers.
Conclusion
In a world where businesses often focus on the big picture, it’s these small touches that create loyal customers and makes a business stand out. The callback not only enhanced my experience but also ensured that I will remember this noteworthy restaurant the next time I place an order. These things not only enhance their business but also leave a positive impact on the customer due to which the customer will return to use their services again. This customer-centric approach leaves a lasting positive impact, encouraging customers to return.
